Cleon E. Harwick (Rochester, MN)

Cleon Eugene Harwick, 83, died Sunday night, April 8, 2018, at Samaritan Bethany on Eighth Street in Rochester. He had lived there for a short time, having moved from his longtime Rochester home at the Northgate Plaza Apartments.

Born on June 7, 1934 in Kasson, Minnesota, Cleon lived most of his life in Minnesota. After school in Rochester, Cleon enlisted in the Navy and served during the Korean Conflict onboard the USS Gurke, and received the National Defense Service Medal and the China Service Medal. He was discharged in December 1952 in San Diego, California.

Dawn Ladwig (Rochester, MN)

Funeral services for Dawn Ladwig will be held Saturday April 14th at 11:00 AM at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Rochester Chapel. The Reverend Maurice Hagen will officiate. The visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home, and will continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Mrs. Ladwig, 50, of Rochester, died Wednesday April 4, 2018 at her home in Rochester.

Dorothy Belo Smith (Rochester, MN)

Dorothy "Dottie" Belo Smith, age 86, of Rochester, died April 3, 2018. Dorothy was born 1931 in Johnson City, NY, where she lived her early life. She graduated from Johnson City High School in 1949 and attended Rochester Institute of Technology, class of 1952 with a degree in Dietetics. There she met and would, in 1952, marry Richard Smith, who worked for IBM. She took a job at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton NY as Head Dietitian.
