34th Annual Rail Fair
Saturday July 18th from 10a-4p at Omni Center in Onalaska, Wisconsin
The 34th Annual Rail Fair is Saturday, July 18th from 10am to 4pm at the Onalaska Omni Center in Onalaska, Wisconsin. Since 1991, Rail Fair has grown to become one of the premier summer railroad events in the Midwest. Attendees will have the opportunity to buy, sell, and trade a wide assortment of model, toy and antique trains, books, magazines, railroad memorabilia, and much more. Proceeds from this event are used to maintain and restore the La Crosse Short Line Railroad Heritage Museum in Copeland Park.
First Annual Rochester Area Hall of Fame Golf Tournament

The First Annual Rochester Area Hall of Fame Golf Tournament takes place on Friday, July 24th at Soldiers Field Golf Course at 10am with awards at 3pm. This event will also recognize the first two inductees: Paul Pehler and Julie Hanson. Registration forms can be picked up at Soldier’s Field. The tournament is being hosted by Friends of Rochester golf and First Tee of Rochester.

The Compassionate Friends Memorial Golf Outing is Saturday July 25th at Oak Summit Golf Course in Rochester. This event honors our children and ALL the special people who will live in our hearts forever. Your registration fee includes:
Continental breakfast, 18 holes of golf, cart, snacks on the course, lunch and early dinner, plus a free coffee mug and ball marker. Prizes will be awarded to the best team score and the lowest score. Balloon release prior to golf. There will also be a chance to win in the $10,000 Hole-In-One contest.

American Legion Post 597 invites you to the 2026 Show & Shine Car Show in Elma, Iowa on the first Monday of each month thru September from 5 to 8pm. Bring your ride, your friends and your love for classic cars. Open to vehicles of all ages with prizes, music, food & drinks. Free registration!

Over the past year, Non-Profit Wrench has helped over 300 local families stay safe, mobile and independent. When a car won’t start or snow traps someone at home, it’s not just an inconvenience, it’s a crisis for families already on the edge. Their work is 100% funded by donations and local business partnerships. As the year comes to a close, please consider a one-time or monthly gift.

The Boys & Girls Club of Rochester is an out-of-school program that empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring community members. Their membership is open to youth from K to Grade 12.
