4th Fest in Rochester takes place on Friday, July 4th at Soldiers Field Park. Enjoy local food and craft beverages or bring a cooler and have your own picnic
The Rochester Community Band performs at 6pm, followed by a Virtual Pet Parade at 7 and live music from ‘Free Fallin’ – Tom Petty Concert Experience’ at 8:30. Then stick around for the Fireworks display around 10pm.

Sounds of Hope Global Youth Concert
July 14 at 7pm at Stewartville United Methodist Church
On July 14th, children and young adults from diverse countries will bring their inspiring, educational, thought-provoking and moving songs to Stewartville audiences of all ages. Songs of Hope is much more than a choir, they entertain with singing, dance, movement and cultural dress. The concert is Monday, July 14th at 7pm at Stewartville United Methodist Church. Admission is free.

Golf for Good…the Salvation Army’s Christmas in July Tournament is Monday, July 21st at Willow Creek Golf Course in Rochester. Registration and lunch begin at 11 with a shotgun start at noon. A dinner follows golf at 5. All proceeds support the Salvation Army’s Housing Programs in Olmsted County.
Lace Up for Hope 5K & 1-Mile Run

Join The Landing MN for their first official Lace Up for Hope 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk, Saturday July 26th at 9am at Little Thistle Brewing in Rochester. All proceeds benefit The Landing MN and supports their guests experiencing homelessness. Enjoy post-race family friendly activities afterward.
Shenanigans Ride and Party

Don’t miss the Shenanigans Ride and Party, hosted by the Southeast Minnesota Chapter of American Bikers for Awareness, Training and Education on Saturday, July 26th at the Isle Bar & Event Center in Spring Valley. There will be a ride, bike games, camping and live music. Vendors are welcome. Registration for the ride starts at 10am with kickstands up at 11. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s and the Rochester Police Department are celebrating Night to Unite (formerly known as National Night Out) on Tuesday August 5th to promote police-community partnerships. Building a safer community starts with getting to know your neighbors. Neighbors are encouraged to organize gatherings and register them online.
