There’s a “Let’s Beat Breast Cancer” rally this Saturday (Oct 10th) from 11am to 2pm at the JC Penney Court at Apache Mall in Rochester. The event, organized by Building Healthy Communities, focuses on the importance of breast cancer prevention strategies and is part of a series of free events being held across the globe. It’s also part of “Let’s Beat Breast Cancer” Week in Rochester.

Rochester Downtown Alliance invites you to ‘Sundays at the Zumbro Market’ from 11am to 3pm every Sunday in October in the Zumbro Parking Lot, just east of the 300 block of South Broadway near the Zumbro River in Rochester. Part farmer’s market, part art fair, part food-and-music gathering. Check out the fresh produce, artisans, local retailers, delicious food, live music and activities for children.
Rochester Police Benevolent Concert – “Hairball”

Rochester Pops Orchestra Concert

The Rochester Pops Orchestra presents “Video Games In Concert”, Sunday, October 18th at 7pm at Bethel Lutheran Church on 3rd Avenue SE in Rochester. The concert will include a re-creation of many video game songs…from back-in-the-day through today’s cutting edge games. Advance tickets are available now. 37th Annual Paws & Claws Fall Charity Fundraiser

The 37th Annual Paws & Claws Humane Society Fall Charity Fundraiser will be held on Friday, October 23rd at the Rochester Event Center. Doors open at 5:30 for the Silent Auction. There’s a pasta buffet from 6 to 7:30pm, plus a Cash Bar and Live Music. There will also be a presentation about the shelter and the night ends with a Live Auction.
35th Annual Great Tri-Sate Rail Sale
Saturday October 24th from 9a-3p at Omni Center in Onalaska, WI
The 35th Annual Great Tri-State Rail Sale is Saturday, October 24th from 9am to 3pm at The Onalaska Omni Center in Onalaska, WI. Since 1992, the Great Tri-State Rail Sale has grown to become the Tri-State’s largest one-day Railroad Hobby Sale, Model Railroad Flea Market & Swap Meet. Funds raised will help to maintain and restore the La Crosse Short Line Railroad Heritage Museum in Copeland Park. Vendors from six states are offering 300 tables of railroad related merchandise including: model toy and antique trains, books, magazines, memorabilia, art and more. Admission is just $8.00. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult.

Outdoor Public Art Tour

The Rochester Art Center invites you to take part in their Outdoor Public Art Tour, every Sunday (thru Oct 25). Tours begin at 1pm at the museum’s main entrance, Door 23 of Mayo Civic Center and continue along a paved path across the Zumbro River. You’ll learn about Rochester’s innovative Art-4-Trails progam and see hidden gems by exceptional artists along the way. No reservation is required and the tour is free and open to everyone. Comfortable walking shoes are encouraged.

Celebrate the 251st birthday of the United States Marine Corps with Thor Detachment #606, Marine Corps League, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 4:30–11pm at the Hilton Event Center in downtown Rochester. Enjoy dinner, a traditional Marine Corps birthday ceremony, and an evening honoring Marines past and present. Marines, veterans, families, and community members are welcome. You do not need to be a Marine to attend. Formal attire or military uniform is required.

The Chatfield Education Foundation’s 4th Annual Live & Silent Auction Event is Saturday, November 21st at Joy Ridge Event Center in Chatfield. CEF id dedicated to advocating, promoting and funding initiatives to enrich educational experiences for Chatfield students. They are currently seeking donations for their live and silent auction. Examples include: gift certificates, event tickets, experience packages, merchandise baskets, professional services and even monetary contributions. All donors will be recognized for helping make a difference in the lives of our students. You can drop off at First National Bank in Chatfield or Fountain any time before Nov 1.
